Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of the GEO Checker website and tools (the “Service”), operated by Noroshi Inc. (株式会社狼煙) (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

GEO Checker analyzes a public web page or website and reports how readable it is likely to be to AI assistants and their crawlers, expressed as a score from 0 to 100 with specific findings. We offer:

• A free check — a single-page diagnosis (score and findings).
• Paid reports — a single-page fix report (“Tier 1”) and a whole-site audit, which add detailed, ready-to-paste fixes and, for the whole-site audit, a multi-page crawl. Prices are shown on the Service before purchase.

2. No account required; acceptable use

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to purchase a paid report.

No sign-up is required to use the free check. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and not to:

• submit URLs you are not authorized to test, or use the Service to attack, overload, or gain unauthorized access to any system;
• circumvent rate limits, security controls, or access gates, or use automated means to abuse the Service;
• resell, scrape, or republish the Service or its output in a way that competes with it.

We may limit, suspend, or block access to protect the Service from abuse.

3. The findings are guidance, not a guarantee

GEO Checker reads only public HTML and produces an estimate. Scores and findings are a guide and do not guarantee how any AI system or search engine will read, rank, cite, or treat your site. AI behavior changes over time and is outside our control. You are responsible for any changes you make to your own site. Any fixes, code snippets, or files we generate are suggestions for you to review and apply at your own discretion and risk; before changing your site, back up your site and its data and test in a safe environment first. We are not responsible for any errors, data loss, downtime, lost revenue, or broken functionality resulting from changes you choose to make to your own site, whether or not those changes are based on our reports. 4. Paid products, payment, and delivery

Payments for paid reports are processed by our payment provider, Polar, acting as Merchant of Record. Polar handles the transaction, applicable taxes, and billing; your purchase is also subject to Polar’s terms. The product is digital and is delivered immediately upon successful payment (the report and generated files are made available in your browser). Refund terms are described in our Refund Policy. When you buy a paid report, your payment transaction is with Polar, as Merchant of Record, and is also subject to Polar's terms; your use of the Service and the report itself remains governed by these Terms.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and content (such as the guide articles), is owned by us and protected by law. The fixes, code snippets, and files generated for your own page or site are yours to use on that site. Do not copy or redistribute the Service itself.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of results, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. For paid reports, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the report in question. For free use of the Service, our total liability shall not exceed US$0, or the minimum amount required by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under mandatory law, including Japan's Consumer Contract Act.

8. Changes to these Terms and the Service

We may update the Service or these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, announced on the Service. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts having jurisdiction over our principal place of business, except where mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
